Burn Away Cake Topper. Comes with one Burn sheet for the top and one icing sheet for the itself.
How The "burn away cake" works :
- The top of the cake has a printed edible image made on wafer paper. (this is the "burn away" image, or TOP image)
- When this image is lit on fire with a match or long candle lighter, it burns away, revealing another image beneath it
- The image beneath that is revealed (the BOTTOM image made using a icing sheet), remains in place, and is the "reveal"
How to order: Select your size. If you would like your own picture on top and or bottom, upload those with our easy upload tool. Leave a message in the box of to let us know which item is the burn sheet and which one is the icing sheet. If the top sheet is a calendar, leave the month and date you would like. If you would like a gender reveal from our selection of images, let us know which one. This is fully customizable and we will work with you to create your perfect set. Feel free to message us with any questions or to create a custom order.
As a baker or cake decorator, you would need to leave space (create a layer that provides height) between the TOP and BOTTOM image, so that the 2 images are not touching. This can be done with icing, buttercream, or in other creative baking ways that gives some space/layers between the TOP and BOTTOM images.
It is important to note that burning the top edible image of the cake can be dangerous and caution should be exercised and expressed to clients or customers. Do not use it around children.
DO NOT BURN near other flammable objects such as tablecloths, curtains, papers, towels, etc or near windy areas. Exercise Caution. Use at your own risk.
Please leave your month, day, and a message such as " Happy Birthday, Sara." Also, If you would like a color background please leave it in the notes such as "Light Pink" or "Bright Pink" Otherwise, the calendar will be printed on a white background.

🍰🍰 They can be applied to all types of mediums: fondant, royal icing, or buttercream! Cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, chocolate (poured or pre-made), isomalt, ice cream, etc. 🍰
All prints use food coloring that is safe to eat. Frosting sheets and edible inks are FDA-approved and kosher-certified, contain no known allergens, are dairy-free and gluten-free.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Detailed Instructions and Tips will be included with every order. Our icing sheets are easy to use. Just remove the edible cake topper off the backing and lay it on the top of your cake. Cake sheets should not be refrigerated before they are placed on the cake, however, keep them away from humidity and light by storing them in a cool, dark space, sealed in a ziplock bag. Sheets can last up to 12 months when properly stored.
Getting print sheets wet or using wet hands to apply them will cause the print to bleed. Wafer paper will dissolve if it becomes wet. Use shortening, corn syrup, buttercream, or edible glue to apply frosting sheets.
